Joan Tovey was born and died on dates thus far unknown. She married John Browning (born 1519) in 1541, and was the mother of John Browning (born 1554).
Her home, according to a chart with the online article The Elusive Captain Browning, was Olveston, a village near the River Severn in Gloucestershire.
