I have the honor to herewith transmit my "estimates for funds" for expenses of this Agency for first quarter 1879, and desire to respectfully report that there never was a time in the history of this Agency when the Indians were in so good a condition for producing a large crop of grain and vegetables, as the present year. A large area of new land has been & is being inclosed, and a considerable amount of plowing has already been done. The Indians who are doing this work should by all means be provided with Seed to plant and such as have not the [...]
