      Your letter of July 19th last informing me of the appointment of Doct. A. Dart superintendent of Indian affairs for this Territory, and requesting me to hand over to him all moneys, papers, and property belonging to the superintendency, was handed to me by D. Dart upon his arrival in the Territory and I have the honour to enclose herewith his receipt for everything in my possession which belongs to his office.
